Action and Service

The IB learners acknowledge the importance of service and work to improve their life, the lives of others, the community and the planet. Thus they become an integral part of tomorrow’s world.

The action is a central component of the IB Programs, and it is a value shared by the entire community. The learners are inspired and encouraged to act in and outside their classroom; these opportunities engage them in service.

ABUAREESH CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Our Primary Years Programme students have partnered with the AbuReesh Children's Hospital, as part of an action. The aim was to develop their knowledge on issues of a global nature and to understand concretely one of the ten essential notions of “Children's rights” : The right to be healthy and to be cared for. They organized a day of artistic activities which they carried out with the children of the hospital. They also collected medicine.
